  1. It’s a lot of information to take in at once in that article. It could have been written easier (?). Yelp as in the online search browser or? The bullshit in it was funny. Especially explaining that he handed over the documents without smiling and so on.

  2. If you hadn’t said it, I would have believed this was a real article. It’s written just like a “real” article would have been written but the reason for suing and the amount of money are both ridiculous, which makes it funny. I like that it plays on how sensitive people can be about jokes.

  3. I totally believed that this article was real at first!!! I especially liked the part about South Park creators rating the NBC lawsuit. I thought that this article was hilarious and well done.

  4. I’m in media law right now and we recently went over parody news such as South Park and how it can’t really be taken as slander or defamation because no one takes it seriously. That being said, this is a pretty legit mock website. Overall a silly article.

  5. Upon actually reading it, the fact that it’s not real has a few hints scattered throughout, such as the creators of South Park rating the lawsuit, and things like Fappy the Anti-Masturbation Dolphin, but upon first look and without paying too much attention, I totally would have thought this was a real thing. Good parody site, good parody.

  6. I think that this is a prime example of where the line between parody and reality is blurred. I am not the biggest fan of printed comedy or parody to be honest because the satire is hard to pick up on.
